Positioning systems are basic components for the sample handling in the laboratory automation as well as for handling tasks in the measurement, test, and assembling automation. AJ Cybertron develops and produces since many years compact linear axes for different strokes and working loads as well as gantry robots for fast positioning tasks in the cartesian room.
The linear axes Macro Drive, Sigma Drive+ and Tiny Drive complement one another ideal regarding stroke (35 to 600 mm) and working load (1 to 10 kg) and are characterised by their compact and flat construction as well as by a high repetitive accuracy. Servomotors are used as drives which are integrated in the axis` body. The linear axes can optionally be combined to especially room-saving xy- and xyz-systems and are delivered - ready for connection - with one single cable for power supply and control system.
For quick positioning tasks in the Cartesian room the Mini Gantry Robot is the ideal platform for pipetting and dosing applications in laboratory automation as well as palletizing, de-palletizing, assembling and inspection systems. By combining the Mini Gantry Robot with the linear axes described before and a rotary stage three-dimensional positioning tasks can easily be realised. For all positioning systems AJ Cybertron has adequate control systems in its product program. Depending on the requirements, it can be chosen between PC-plug-in boards, stand-alone or miniature control systems. It is also possible to integrate the control system MiniControl directly into the linear axes Sigma Drive+ (from 150 mm stroke) and Macro Drive.
