SIS 2010 : Science and Technology: Leading the Way to Tomorrow

The joint exposition of JAIMA EXPO 2010 and SIS 2010 would be held from September 1st (Wed.) through 3rd (Fri.).
Growing and ambitious two exhibitions would get together for the new start of "All-round Exposition on Analytical Instruments and Measurement & Scientific Instruments" to support and promote the advancement of R&D and Production of various industry sectors.
This new joint exposition is a unification of JAIMA EXPO 2010 and SIS 2010 and inherits JAIMA SHOW methodology managed by "Joint Organizing Committee" as one united exposition.

Joint Exposition in 2010 would have two slogans, "Securing a Healthy Future with Analytical Technology" (JAIMA EXPO 2010) and "Science and Technology: Leading the Way to Tomorrow" (SIS 2010). As these slogans states, the show would cover entire course of R&D and Q.C.introducing the most advanced instruments and technologies.

ESAS is the international meeting of scientists to share recent developments, exchange ideas, explore new directions and initiate a possible collaboration in the atomic spectrometry area. Moreover, this conference is intended to stimulate young scientists, to allow them to meet with the authorities in spectroscopy, and to enable passing-on of research experience from generation to generation.

In the 2010 year ESAS will be held at Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland. Similarly to the previous successful conferences, the topics cover both fundamental research and practical application aspects of the atomic spectrometry techniques.

The Analytical Section of the Norwegian Chemical Society invites scientists and users of science to this Fifth Nordic Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry.

By contrast to other plasma spectrochemistry meetings, the *FREE short courses* basic as well as advanced (2 hours duration) will be offered to all participants during the four day meeting which may be very attractive to participants to learn about and to be updated on plasma spectrochemistry.

The aim of the conference is to provide a forum to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge about recent developments and state-of-the-art knowledge in main areas of analytical plasma spectrochemistry. The conference will bring together international participants experienced in fundamental aspects, instrumentation and applications in typical Norwegian informal settings to examine recent progress in this continuing growing field; approximately 100 participants are expected to attend.
